With deep sorrow, we bid farewell to our esteemed colleague, Professor Sanz Requena, who has recently passed away. He was an exceptional scientist and a skilled communicator, dedicated to the dissemination of science and education. Professor Sanz was a valued member of our Research Group and a respected faculty member at the University of Valladolid.
Throughout his extensive career in planetary sciences, specializing in the atmospheres of the Solar System, he collaborated closely with the EHU/UPV Planetary Sciences Group and actively engaged in various outreach and educational initiatives.
Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family, particularly his wife and son, during this challenging time. His absence will be keenly felt by his colleagues and students.
